World premiere of Magnum Opus-commissioned The Promise of Time (written by David Carlson specifically for Christine Brewer with libretto by poet Susan Kinsolving); Barber’s Essay for Orchestra No. 2, Opus 17; Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, plus “Prelude and Liebstod” from Tristan and Isolde.
